Hi guys/girls,

Im a 31 (yes I'm an old man) gamer, love all type of games and the interaction they bring.

Very new to the FF14 MMO and it was my first time playing (beta 3). Enjoying it atm but am looking for others to enjoy the experience further with.

Would love to be in an Oceanic guild at launch and have some people help me learn the ropes.

Fear not! You are not alone. I get the feeling that the average age of PC gamers is slowly but surely increasing. (Are we witness to a generation gap in the forming here?)

All the mean while those hip 'youngsters' with their facebooks and smart telephones :P seem to be infatuated with really angry birds, plants fighting zombies, ninja cutting up fruit and any number of mind numbing ~casual~ browser games / mobile apps! (Total generalisation, I know I know.)

Perhaps will see you around depending on the server of choice! :D

You have a couple of years on me, but you're not alone! I am mid-20's which I consider to be on the older scale in the gaming community.

As for the Linkshell / Free Company - be sure to check out the linkshell section on this forum. I do believe there are a few shells on there that are starting up on Tonberry.

Take a look and see which one fits you most. If you are confirmed on going to Tonberry, you may consider checking out Mirai or Synapse. :)
