Hi, I applied to Masamune with a friend of mine and we applied a few hours before the server went down. It wasn't full when we hit apply and it says Selected World is Masamune so that means im in right? Cuz Im wondering if we have a new method this time where we have to wait to be accepted or something I dunno. If they stuck with the old method than I should be ok.

I've been told there going to increase the Charactor limit of Legacy worlds. Dont know if it applies to the transfers tho.

Legacy players: Transfer to Masamune is up again for a limited period of time, from 28 June to 1 July OR as soon as the server hits cap again. OK well I got a lot of mates who are playing this game and because of the amount of ppl who have preordered it, no one will know which server everyone is choosing UNLESS they read this forum, even though no one has really come up with a descision. The OFFICIAL OCEANIC SERVER will be BEHEMOTH. That is mine and my Gaming Communities choice. Its not about being able to speak Japanese and shit, its more the fact that people on ps3 and pc who are new to the game and buying it for the first time will choose an NA server. So numbers will be there, also the fact in phase 3 beta I got better ping over the NA servers than the JP servers, Go figure hey.

I got a slightly better ping to the NA servers by less than 30ms. I'll be on Tonberry though as the FC I wish to join is there and I can speak some Japanese.

I'd suggest waiting it out but it's really up to you. You could try Masamune, it's not new, it's Legacy, but it has a good community there. I'm kind of surprised its not full.

I actually have to re-roll my character because I messed up on part of the character creation so I'm waiting too :( From what I understand they are gating the servers because of the huge influx of people all at once. At some point they should release the restriction and allow new character creation.
