About Us
Awakened is an oceanic time zone guild and was formed with some RL friends and friends that I have raided in wow for over 2 year. Awakened is a RANK 5 FC providing exp boost 24/7. We currently have about 60 FC members. It should be generally expected that more than 10 members will be online simultaneously throughout the day.

FC Objectives
The primary object of the FC is to conquer the most challenging end game content and stay up to date with the latest FFXIV ARR contents available to us. Notwithstanding this, we also aim to achieve the following:
• Provide a friendly environment for fellow oceanic players to meet and befriend with like-minded people.
• Provide help and tips for new players to adapt to the game.
• Provide a community to enhance the overall experience of FFXIV ARR and a place to conveniently find players to tackle group content.
• We will also get involved in the FC housing system, PvP and any other FC related activities once the content becomes available.

Current Raid Composition
We currently have a total of 6 players dedicated to challenge the most difficult content FFXIV ARR has to offer, most of us are full-time workers with a consistent schedule with some still studying. The team is comprised of the following classes and some are in the process to unlock additional jobs to expand our flexibility:
• 1xPaladin
• 1xWarrior
• 1xMonk
• 1xBlack Mage
• 1xBard
• 1xWhite Mage

Raid Recruitment
We are currently looking to fill the gaps in our current raid setup with the following jobs:
• Dragoon
• White Mage
• Scholar
• Summoner
It is possible that we may accept all other classes that have not been mentioned above should you possess exceptional qualities.

Raid Times
*Official Raids will start 20th September 2013.
Friday: 8:00pm-12:00am (GMT+9:30) / 10:30am-2:30pm (GMT)
Saturday: 8:00pm-1200am (GMT+9:30) / 10:30am-2:30pm (GMT)
Note: It is possible to that during PROGRESSION, an additional raid day may be added during weekdays, and the Fri/Sat raids may be extended an additional hour (to 1:00am GMT+9:30/3:30pm GMT).

Raider Qualities and Requirements
• 100% raid attendance.
• Dedicated, does not QQ about wiping, willing to learn with the team and able to take constructive criticisms.
• A person that will research their job mechanics to optimise raid performance and boss strategies.
• A person that prepares for raids, that means obtain external buffs (such as food, potions) prior to raids, attains the best gear possible outside of the raid environment, melds quality materia into equipment with slots etc.
• Have obtained the critical cross-class ability for their respective job to enhance their performance.
• Someone that does not get offended easily, able to take some jokes.
• Able to follow, understand and execute raid leader’s instructions.
• Previous raid experience in a MMO is required.
• Able to understand/speak English.
• A team player, someone who actively contributes and get involved rather than just tagging along.
• Access to online communication program such as Vent, a working mic and a headphone.
• A stable internet connection that can be consistently relied upon 99% of the time.
• A PC system that does not cause graphical lag that will hinder your raid performance. (PS3 players are encouraged to join, should you provide evidence that you perform no different to a PC user)

The points below will be highly regarded:
*Person with (or intends to) have access to an additional job available.
*Have a crafting profession and gathering profession.
*Have a consistent schedule, whether it is full-time work or study (to some extent).
*Most importantly, we just want to find a chilled person that we can enjoy the whole experience together, as getting along with each other is the upmost priority for us and is the most important factor to ensure a sustainable raid environment.

Loot Distribution
Given the current system limitations, all loot will be distributed via the FFXIV roll system.
Casual Recruitment Requirements
The requirements for casual players are:
Someone who,
• Is able to speak/understand basic English.
• Is friendly to others players.
• Does use offensive or sensitive language in guild chat.
• Does not harass other people.
• LOVES Final Fantasy franchise!!! or just XIV, that will do too.
