Not really going out of our way to recruit, but it is open anyway. Just thought id post so you know there is Australians on Masamune.
Our roster consists of 4 1.0 players everybody else is a new player to FFXIV. We're typically a "hardcore" MMO open PvP guild, but the landscapes on that's alittle dry at the moment, so we're taking PVE break!
Also our "linkshell" group (not Freecompany/guild) has been setup just as a social chat for shenanigans and stuff, so if you know us or any of our members from other games feel free to ask for an invite to hangout. You can message me ingame (Xile Star) for an invite or the TRF member you know.
I really don't see that much of a difference between legacy and new server, infact there's probably more of a disadvantage on legacy. Being that there's probably less people to level with and as so many people put it the economy will be much harsher for new players on legacy servers like myself. But we choose legacy because we know more people on the legacy realm rather than the new realm and we also believe the legacy servers will continue to have the more established community.
As for PvP in this game, im honestly not holding my breath on it. Maybe it will blow us all away with how amazing it it, but PvP has certainly never been Squares or Japans strong point…at least in gaming…
Just an update, we're making our linkshell alittle more open to the peoples friends, people we know from other guilds or whatever. If you want to hangout just get in contact with a member for an invite to it.
Also if you're considering applying to the guild and would like us to hangout in the linkshell before applying, that is fine, we understand people want to trial a guild asmuch as a guild wants to trial new members.
looking at getting our second coil group locked in, got 5 players atm, but i need of a second tank, a melee DPS and BRD. Joining the FC isn't required to do this, but we would like to have a set 8 people.
