Synapse is based in the SG/Oceanic GMT+8 time zone and serves as a long-term MMORPG community for:

For Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn we are aiming for serious progression raiding within reasonable hours. Meaning, it is very unlikely we would do 12-20 hour raids whenever new content is launched. We consist almost entirely of working adults and understand that real life > games. That being said, the time we do spend during raids will be serious and focused. We do intend to aim for region firsts after all.

We are primarily looking for raiders with experience from past games (WoW, Rift, etc) to flesh out our roster.

UPDATE (31 July 2013):
Recruitment is now closed for all forms of applicants, even guests, except for:
  1. Friends of existing members,
  2. Raiding applicants with extensive raiding history (case-by-case basis)

Our free company is up now in Phase 3.

We took in 2 trials recently and a couple of old veteran members have resurfaced due to phase 3 of beta, thus our council has decided not to take in any group applications. We will be limiting recruitment to experienced and exceptional applicants at this point in time.

Raid slots are very limited at this stage, we are only taking experienced/exceptional applications.

We will still evaluate dedicated crafters if there is much interest around for that as that's always helpful for the team.

true, in some way Crafters can help build up your team to go raid, especially Alchemist, for the pots, also Crafters are major for Housing, where you store your items and all, aka the Guild Bank.
