Hey I'm from SA too.. plenty of Aussies on Tonberry server if it actually lets you create a character on there

SA here as well haha :)
There are a lot of Aussies & eng speakers on Tiamat :3 the login issues seem to be fading as well, got in perfectly fine yesterday & today ^.^

Have you tried testing your ping to see if a NA or JP server would suit your connection better?

I'm in SA too, still waiting to make a char on Tonberry or Tiamat.
My ping to JP is 180 and to EU/US 350 approx.

playing on EU server until I can actually create a char on a JP server
